Thinking about the petitions, markets, traders, holders, investors and stock and derivatives exchange. I don't have any issues with BOT trading and having the algorithms buy or sell, short or accumulate. My only criticism of allowing the BOT trading is low transparency around the information and market integrity. If the institutional investor or a hedge fund employs such trading practice, they should be required to disclose their practice to the exchange and the exchange make this information available in the daily report to all market participants. Imagine retail investors being able to access this information and make their investment decisions based on the truly efficient open and transparent market. I.e. King is shorting PNV and you find that information on the first day. Then they check all available information and make some decisions with regards to shorting view vs other views. IMO shorting view is often right but the transparency is the key in stopping institutional investors from "stealing money" from retail investors. This is my view only and it may never happen or change, but the information is key IMO
