There are only two types of wars where an army wins
One :- the blitzkrieg, six day, two weeks very quick overwhelming wars with immense power
Two:- Guerilla wars of attrition
Anything else is a never win waste of time, look at Ukraine, look at what the Gaza war is becoming
First develop a strategy, send in the forces, then lock all the politicians in jail until it is all over
Win win all the time
