The Legislature of New South Wales enacts—
1 Name of Act
This Act is the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment (Sea Bed
Mining and Exploration) Act 2024.
2 Commencement
This Act commences on a day or days to be appointed by proclamation

Proclamation Commencement is:

Proclamation Commencement:

The Governor has the authority to appoint a specific day for the commencement of an Act by issuing a proclamation.This appointed day must fall between the date of assent to the Act (when it becomes law) and 28 days after the date of assent.Essentially, the proclamation sets the official start date for the Act.
So the Governor will 'proclaim' a date for this LAW to commence...no doubt it will be on the date requested by the Government.
