My base assumption on Brigette is that she is transgender. i base that on facts presented in the journal referenced in the OP. Give me the evidence of your truth on the matter. So not an emotional or ideological response, what i would like is a fact that you use yo create your base assumption that Brigette is a biological woman. Now her kids are not a plausible truth as they may very well be her kids, previously his kids. A truth could be a photo of Brigette under the age of 30. A photo of her pregnant. A photo of Brigette and her adult brother together.
