And they didn't tell us about it in the Dec Quarterly Report in January even though it says the purchase order was dated in December - probably didn't want to worry us as the underwriting of the deal by Bangkok Bank was completed by then.
Better to have new equipment and the fact of the matter is they don't have $20mil to refurb the old equipment and it'll only cost us $1.3mil/month in principal repayments plus some interest once they have all the equipment. A deal that came together in a series of steps - could have been lucky I guess but all's well that ends well.
I'm hoping that the following sentence from the 'Operational Update' on Friday is not just words but will come true - surely you can't say this if it's not going to happen in the following two weeks: Under the heading of 'Chatree Staff Recruitment' - 'The new recruits are due to commence work at Chatree later this month, to coincide with the ramp up to full operations.'
