An aid package currently held up over political wrangling in Washington could soon be approved - if it takes the form of a loan.
That's according to US senator Lindsey Graham, who visited Kyiv today to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He told a news conference after their meeting he backed sending aid, but told Ukrainians they must consider the problems that hang over the legislation in the US, including border security.
A non-interest, waivable loan, he said, "makes a lot of sense" - and he hopes the package could be approved in a matter of days rather than weeks.
