    Maybe it is a case of if he is to stay on the sinking ship he wants to be adequately remunerated?

    Given issues with John Gay exit, this maybe says more about how desperate the company is to demonstrate an image of executive stability to market than about returning shareholder value?

    But agree, it also appears to be a lot of money for not much upside!
