You're quite right, but there could be a side issue here. It looks like this divvy will be one of those times when (theoretically) you would be better off leaving the DRP and using the cash to buy on market in the payment week. You don't know until you have the benefit of hindsight, and for a 'mum&dad' investor, it wouldn't be worth it after brokerage etc.
For example, the Oct 2021 DRP price was $57.06 but you could buy WES in the payment week for as little as $54.05. In Aug 2020 the DRP price was $45.984, while the SP dropped to around $42.89 in payment week.
On the bright side, last year's interim at $48.9754 was around a $1.50 discount on the going rate in payment week.
