It shows JP’s ongoing commitment to the company, absolutely, but it’s 20 March today. This notice is just the ratification of shares under the director placement announced as part of the capital raising on 31 January.
You can’t infer anything (good or bad) about Glencore’s DD process over the past 1.5 months just from this notice.
