With AOF now debt-free and with some quality assets onboard, what is the future for a relatively small office REIT like AOF ?
Given the current position within the cycle, should it :
1) Stay with the current assets until values improve (a few years) and then sell and wind down the structure, or
2) Raise funds via an underwritten issue (with $0.01 options) and buy distressed but quality assets, or
3) Acquire / merge with another REIT, or
4) Pursue a suitor for an all-out offer, or
5) Another option.
