----Nicholas Mather's Vision: SOLGOLD, ECUADOR: String of Pearls.------It now looks like what Mr Mather said many years ago is coming to pass. How? He said he will make it too expensive for the majors OR they will pay the price but did not elucidate how much.
If one looks at Alpala & Tandamaya America , Cascabel [Northern Ecuador] alone, there is already some 40moz of gold, excluding the significant copper as above. Adding to this is, PORVENIR , Southern Ecuador with some 7moz gold equiv.With the latest Solgold ANN about Blanca Nieves, 8kms away from Cascabel to be integrated into Cascabel,with bonanza-style gold silver grades, [in extent at 2.5km x 2.5km it is larger than Alpala], would now suggest that Nicholas Mather's defence pill of too expensive to take over is coming to fruition? Why ? With 40moz gold & 7moz gold as above - the going rate from data is about $30+ per oz for a takeover. So, with 47moz gold [& equiv] WITHOUT BLANCA NIEVES means: 47moz xUS$1= $47m, then $470m [$10] and then $1,410bn [$30 conservatively]. Solgold currently trades at £252m @8.41p, 20.3.24.
The term sheet for Cascabel is around uS$1750 for gold and currently gold is at US$2,100+. Copper is also rising. I read a comment that the majors have taken TOO LONG to strike. The drilling, licences, exploration etc has run into double digit millions and is on the Balance Sheet.
With the signing of the agreement with Ecuador at PDAC Toronto recently, Solgold and the other projects by others are now on a better footing with clarity. Solgold also had a meeting with the new President of Ecuador who is keen to open up their country for mining. Solgold is Ecuador/s largest project in history.
Perhaps the dream to become the next copper major in Ecuador may come to fruition now with reduced costs and potential off-takers etc. The majors held back on Ecuador due to political uncertainty per Mr Scott, interview with *****. Now, there is clarity and an agreement signed. Question for our time: Will Solgold be taken over or will go on to be a copper major in Ecuador per early presentations? sol1,20.3.24.
