Hi Rskiff, It never ceases to amaze me this fascination with cross trades... there are only very specific types of cross trades that are out of the ordinary, the majority are simply where the buyer and the seller use the same broker!!
If I use commsec to put in a sell order and the person that buys my parcel is also a commsec customer, then the trade will show up in the course of sales as a cross trade. It is that simple!!
When I was trading more actively it was not at all unusual for my buys or sells to show up in the history as cross trades, and I can assure you I had no knowledege of who the other party was from whom I was purchasing or selling to.
