The money of mines (MoM) crew are scathing towards members of the board at SPR , which I can understand but MoM to be transferring that scathingness to the assets SPR has , I can not understand .

Lets say the mill runs with ore at $14.00 a tonne process cost for 6 months and then runs for 6 months with not a piece of ore through it , the mill capacity has reduced from 2.5 Mtpa to 1.25 Mtpa and the costs have at the worst doubled to $28.00 a tonne over the whole year , (even assuming consumables still used).

$28.00 a tonne is around the cost WGXs mills and other small mills run at and comes to around a difference of 0.14 (14/100) of a cost per gram increase in cost equivalent , assuming a gram of gold is worth around $A 100.00 .
Boys at MoM listen up , we will be processing ore at 6 grams a tonne who gives a flying rats posterior about looks 0.14 grams a tonne in inefficiencies ?

Mill being too big looks like a red herring to me , just like this thing about the slip at the North end Dalgaranga , looks a red herring with say a cost of $1M when you do the math and look at the bigger picture of $ 3000M of revenue potential

As Joelstar commented better to be over capacity or as the American V8 petrol heads would say "there is no replacement for displacement "
