No doubt these guys from WBT can see potential by way of massive demand for what they are professing to bring to the semi-conductor market. Even quite nonchalant in their delivery and I certainly can feel this air of confidence in their Tech.
To answer your WHY questions................it has to be about the tech they are working on and where this tech can take the company. Sure they will see some resistance to change but the Koreans are very forward thinking and many will be watching how DBHT move forward with reram
