100% they do. Some are as bold to put the stock down as much as possible as they short it, then buy it at the lowest to return their borrowed shares. Now, with their newly acquired free profit, buy more than a lot of us have, only to now suddenly pump the stock.
Seems that for some, there is no honour amongst traders
