Some states waive the rego fee and some have stamp duty exemptions.
You can live in the past all you like, but if EVs made financial sense NOW, all these tax payer funded incentives would not be required.
They would sell themselves.
But they don't.
And next year we look forward to the Fuel Efficiency tax.
Labor doing what Labor does best - introduce new taxes.
Let's talk about the source of electricity these EVs are being recharged from.
How many EVs owners charge their Evangilistmobiles from 100% clean renewables?
I'm guessing... none.
That makes all EV owners hypocrites.
How long would it take to recharge a near-empty Tesla rust bucket from near empty to full with their home solar system?
The depreciation meter will be ticking over faster than the battery gauge.
