You are guessing and I believe trying to imply on what Merchant is doing , when it is likely, as a trader that is exactly what you would do.

A specialised multi multi million dollar fund does not get an overall 50% increase in 3 or 4 months by trading the way you think.

Its get that return by taking a stance on what it thinks the upside potential is for these biotechs and either makes a fortune or afterwards assesses its next move.

The stock is at around 4 to 5 year highs, and I believe there are plenty of investors in some significant profits, any one or more of these could and probably have been some of the sellers, but results will drive the long term price, not the day to day movements of a few buyers and sellers today.

I believe results will bring in significant buyers that will easily outweigh many old shareholders whom are in profit.
