It is ironic that Nickel Sulfide deposits are supposedly so much easier to manipulate; but yet in this new Hydromet technology being used by LifeZone Metals, they are running the ore through an autoclave just like Nickel Laterite and then separating the metals with solvents. It is unclear if Electrowinning or some other electrochemistry is used to further separate the metals.
It actually seems like our Clean IX technology (CleanTeq water) https://www.cleanteqwater.com/water-treatment-technology/clean-ix/ may have an advantage here....
Does anyone care to speculate or add intelligent discourse to this subject?
