From double brick experience in Perth ... when fitting internal door lintels they would get block lintels made with horizontal core imternal blocks with rebar ... these would be pre glued and the HX can lift them into position and the operator simply applies the adhesive prior to lift... as for window openings if ceiling is standard 28 course then you don't need a lintel ... if 30 course and higher a steel lintel can be lifted by the hx and the operator simply places it on the bricks ...

The HX can use the on board saw to trim the next row of blocks to allow for lintel thickness or they get the brick supplier to sequence the blocks to allow for lintels.
