Had the privelege of talking with ting one on one , whilst he was confident of scalability he was concerned about what he referred to as " the edges" of the smaller chip. Its a compromise as you go smaller, the ratio of area to edges and the potential of the imperfections at the edge to become significant enough to impact functionality. Only time will tell
