It could very well play out like this gassed. Ophir may not have wanted to commit to drilling Senegal in 2011, so they told FAR to lock in a renewal for another three years and pay the $5 million. The Senegal government may very well have known about the deal, hence the three year extension versus a two year. If they do that they may get 5-10% play in their blocks, then Ophir and possibly Rocksource may JV into Senegal and drill there in 2012-13. FAR may not get cash back in this deal, but they expand their presence in WA by having three different actions and may even keep more of Senegal (20-30%) by paying the $5 million to extend it out. Just my thoughts and we only need to wait to Monday to get a clearer picture of what is going on, or it may even raise more questions if it is out of left field and we are all wrong.
