    Australia's lack of resiliance, because it doesn't produce enough of our basic needs, is reason for us reacting to global peturbations.

    We shouldn't have politicians blaming other markets for our dilemna and we shouldn't have hocked the farm to live a lifestyle beyond our means.

    Oz should look to Argentina and Holland for its cues.
