No, I live in a regional Qld location. Spoiler alert. BYD, Tesla and every other OEM, don't care about rural Australia. They care about sales and the mass market, hence why Toyota are EV laggards and are slowly but surely losing market share. It's a way off, but in 20 years, could they be bothered producing a ICE 79 Series for a few customers in rural Australia, Africa or wherever? If they do, be prepared for the SS battery version of it. I doubt Diesel will be readily available as many service stations will close.
Maybe fish and chip shop used oil from roadhouses out west will be in demand. It can run the 79 series and chargers for EV's. LOL.
