If you have a good wellbore stability and do a drill stem test: no
In our case we seem to have different sandstone layers and problems with wellbore stability were reportet: in such a case a cemented casing before perforation is probably the better option especially when you want to test selectively single layers with different pressure regimes (overpressured formation).
