Can anyone assist with how they calculate the grades over the entire sample?
e.g the large hit of 19.2m @ 179.52g/t (includes 0.8m @3,882 g/t)
If they perform a simple mean average, most of the gold (90%) is in that 80cm. The grade of the remaining 18.4m was 18.54g/t.
Still a nice hit, but 19.2m @ 179.52g/t looks a lot better than 18.4m @ 18.54g/t + 0.8m @ 3888 g/t?
Could be indicative of a very nuggetty orebody.
I guess that is why further drilling is required?
