It is a natural reaction for people to doubt and denigrate things they don't understand.
Like ASN's DLE for example. But to their surprise, they will learn that it was real after all.
Scepticism and Disbelief: In the early stages of scientific discovery, some sceptics doubted the existence or significance of electricity. Some may have dismissed reports of electrical phenomena as mere myths or misunderstood natural events.
I have no idea what will come in the future, but a lot of people in the past would not have believed things we take for granted today like mobile phones and airlines.
