The thing in our favour here is that the existing infrastructure for electricity is comming to the end of its usefull life. The hurtle is that power supply companies have to work out how to still sell electricty rather than just be the suppliers of a grid network. Clearly they have recongised that big centralised power stations are not always the best option but how do they implement a transition without losing control.
