I think the most relevant item here is that the proxy advisors are supporting the Chairman

"CGI Glass Lewis rebuffed the push by the Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility to have Mr Spence’s re-election blocked, noting that Santos’ performance in terms of total shareholder returns remains “positive and significant” over one, three and five-year time horizons."

I think this just goes to show that people want to make mountains out of molehills when it comes to Santos.
