The cost of preparing the additional aircraft for flying will be a significant short term financial hit compared with flying them to Rocky to be pulled to bits. If cashflow was tight, they would be either on-sold or put into storage in the US Mojave desert immediately on purchase.
The bigger question is whether having a more limited supply of spares due to less aircraft being parted out will be a hindrance in keeping the flying aircraft operational overtime.
