I would say he's just had a stab at it based on a calculated NPV (which Renascor themselves published in 2020) of $500million USD (~$765million AUD) ... I actually think based on current tech and markets that it may be a little higher by the time things are in production.

I foresee a very segregated market between countries in the future.

The world has become very concerned (even moreso) with security of resources both in the edible sense and mineral sense.

Australia ( and other 5 eyes allies) will be hugely important resources for the US once the African and South American markets are controlled completely by the Chinese (and allied) interests.

Not trying to be dramatic or cause any segregation but I just think that's how the power of the world economy and countries is heading currently.

China has realised it doesn't necessarily need it's traditional trading partners for resources as there are far cheaper and less beurecratic sources out there.

Meanwhile Europe and the US are fast realising that unless they get their acts together and secure more resource rich relationships/land that they actually don't have the power going forward to keep things balanced.
