Unfortunate facts. I think it smart to supersede the lack of tangible progress on the 2ktpa production included in yesterdays report, with todays announcement, to hopefully redirect attention away from those other important milestones. I suppose it was to stem any bleeding. But we'll have to see what affect this has over a longer period of the next month or two.

RE this ann, to be honest the hype around the forum is absolutely no different to when the Salta Court approvals were granted last October. All we were waiting on was a signature. Then came out of no where more submissions of the hydrogeological reports (finally the last of them), more of the same hype posts. Obviously this was way off the mark, and it's surprising no one has learnt their lesson with the type of posts I'm reading. I get it, excitement and all that.

I'm very happy to see another step in the right direction. Is it the final step though? I thought (like 100% of everyone else here) the Court approvals were the final step 5 months ago. The posts today can be compared to date of the last 'final steps' and they'd read almost identical. So who knows. No expectations here, until the actual announcement comes that it's fully approved.

Expansion approvals are obviously an on-going thing (for who knows how much longer), immediate concerns should be directed to yesterdays announcement with the severe lack of progress on production. I know the expansion will trigger offtake/financing (or so we're told), but looking ahead, they won't be able to run the 10ktpa at all without getting the current process working at even half of nameplate.

In fact, they be limited to how much they can actually construct with the expansion, without knowing what equipment they will need to have it run properly.

Even though no one wants to acknowledge this, it's still food for thought.
