C'mon Albo, Bowen and Labor, we really could do with a nuclear industry as we should be a first world country and able and capable at everything if not leading with some things, if not Nuclear then it's got to be gas, we need lots more stable electric capacity than today if we're going all EV's and electric stoves etc etc, most countries now understand some baseload at least is required, nuclear emits zero carbon and no pollution so better than coal and gas, modern nuke tech very safe too, we also have lots of empty space in Oz to store it safely after use too, maybe even an old mine site could be a good idea for storage. https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/historic-reversal-us-restart-shut-down-nuclear-power-plant-first-time-ever
