As an investor you need to be prepared for all scenarios. Definetely the CEO selling out PCL for a low ball offer to cash out 40m shares in a short period is definetely one scenario. I would like to think personally he is a bit more ambitious than this. We are all here for the same reason afterall. But if this is your concern the solution is simple buy more shares while it is under 3c. In this scenario to make the equivalent gains you will need a lot larger holding. Personally I feel the number 1 risk is WDS not being successful on the first drill. The same strategy to counter this scenario is similar to a possible early takeover. Buy more shares now than previously planned and then sell some of them, taking profits before drilling commences. If there is a takeover event beforehand at the very least a larger holding would also be a better position for this scenario. Anyway certainly not advice but whenever games are being played on the share price and there is a treeshake or a sell off, I will be there getting another order filled.
