I think he had no idea what is going on in the Middle East, doesn’t know the history, doesn’t know the players and doesn’t understand the dynamic.
it has occurred to me to wonder whether, if Israel did not respond to the hezbollah attacks - much they started, and then faced incursions and further terrorism, the Israeli government would then be accused of creating the situation.
I read a review today which commented on the combined impact of Hamas and hezbollah attacks on the Israeli sense of security. I’d say that’s right.
as to this comment with this in mind we can see that Israel has constructed their own problems of survival by creating a hatred that didn't exist pre-Zionist activities
