...Tesla is down -29% YTD due to shorting?
...Shorts get badly hurt if their rationale (for shorting) is unmatched with reality.
...Or lithium stocks are down because the industry has entered a period of consolidation, which could stretch over a year or longer. Lithium producers don't just close operations nor the need to layoff staff if the lithium pricing issue is merely transitory (as in months).
...Shorting may be one of the reasons lithium stocks are down, but don't put the blame for the woes entirely to shorts.
