smile.png Really good in-depth analysis! Great work!
I was into Peak for a while.
Kaolin has become a dirty word -- it is a true sh*t of a clay, and the most common widespread clay version in Oz.
    It is everywhere.
Mostly less than two microns in size, Kaolin has a layered structure -- there are a multiplicity of kaolin varieties -- that adsorbs beautifully, but releases sporadically to badly.
Unlike the Lake Hope Magic Mud nanos at 1000 times smaller!!
CSIRO will have to lift their Ultra-Fine game...
Bit like the MEI Saprolite that just falls apart in the right solvent -- I have a very practical horticultural background and very familiar with the Sydney versions of Kaolinite clays -- and when I heard Tunksy dropped a handful of Caldeira clay into a bucket of ammonium sulphate, and it just dissolved -- I was in, and in for the long term - it doesn't get any more ionic than that.

Anyway, its an IPT thread, and our sediment is unique and imo not just world-class -- it's re-defining the assessment requirements for the purity of an alumina deposit.
Not so concerned with CAPEX reduction at this point in time, still nuancing the OPEX as a priority, but open to discussion.
Need to reply to your other thread as well.
    Cheers,
    Ice
