How about they give the land back to the local land council
FYI WOW tend to develop a new site then sell up and leaseback to free up capital and have a nice tax deduction. Many of their regional and stand alone properties are held by RGN (Region Group) which is a REIT listed on the ASX. Other sites they lease from other REIT's.
