So in 1980, which way did you expect the world temperature to go?
Remember that was a cold period ...(even YOUR scientists were calling for another ice age)...so you are saying you expected it to get even colder (hence ice pack gets bigger?)
Not possible to have a peak (cold/ ice) in 1980, considering the rise in C02 over the preceeding 150 + years.
After all C02 is SO powerful.
Clearly NOT Co2 related.
