Agree Stezza. It will be our customers in the end that do the marketing. It can almost be anything. If you do biogas with 100% renewables then it's carbon negative. If you do natural gas from fields with high CO2, and they have high methane leakage, then it clearly still has a significant footprint. But if you used that same source and displaced the SMR that was using it, then it's still a massive saving in emissions and a fantastic outcome.
Every jurisdiction has its own unique fiscal environment. And they each have their own current energy mix from which we can draw power, from 100% (think Norway or Tassie with hydro) to WA where you can't get 24 hr green power 365 days a year. And I wouldn't want Hazer to pay any premiums for power just for a demo.
So if a customer can put a carbon negative project together, that's great and they can sing it from the rooftops. But we don't need perfection to make a significant contribution, and the quickest and easiest contribution to emissions reduction and our bottom line will be via SMR displacement with natural gas. It's a great alignment! It's a huge opportunity. And our customers will know how to market this in their respective backyards to maximise incentives and gain public/govt support as necessary.
