Governments in the west will and are pushing back with funds and Policy. The U.S. is big time. The where and how something was sourced and made is not gonna make the Chinese happy.
The west is making its stand with green money.
The sanctions of Australian and others produce etc was a clear signal to the west there will be no rules unless you can enforce them. And a political plus for the U.S. etc would be pushing back at the People's Republic of China.
We are investing in interesting times, to paraphrase the old Chinese proverb.
