I hope robhw will pardon my cautious tone, but the devil is in the detail on this placement:

It's well known BRD is short of $: If they have been able to entice some serious money from a buy-in investor at a decent share-price (ie something close to, or even better, than recent trading price) then that would be a major plus.

If on the other hand it's a major dilution by giving up a large slice of the company for peanuts, that would be a drag.

Keeping my hat on for now, looking forward to a full announcement by Thursday.
