This is serious tin foil hat stuff right here... The market sets the price - if you want to bid up the price to a level you think is reflective of the assets, go ahead. I welcome that. To me it presents a compelling investment opportunity here, hence I've been buying. $2.8m in the bank to 31/12 and you think the directors (acting in the best interest of shareholders) would prefer to operate the company insolvent? I'd say they raised because they had to ahead of a drill campaign to generate value for holders. Retail market is virtually dead for lith plays rights now, so I'm not surprised they went up the food chain.
I feel for long term holders, but keep you're eye on the prize - the assets are decent and time will hopefully cleanse the disconnect in price. It is a serious stretch to say the directors are at fault...
