You're predicting a 2018 spike, yet V prices and demand seem to be still falling everywhere, in China and Europe, at multi-year lows. I recon AVL bears all the hallmarks of being a zombie stock, along with a few others in the V mining space, VR8, RVT, SRN, LGO, BMN. Maybe this is all by design - at this rate in a couple more years, the only V producers left will be in China.
