Share price is up 12%+ today, on no obvious news. The only plausible explanation (that I can see) is that the next quarterly report, due in late April, will deliver news which is either: (a) better than most have been expecting; or at least (b) less bad than many of the pessimists have feared.
it will be interesting to see whether this share price upturn continues in the lead-up to the quarterly report; if so, I imagine that the ASX might issue a ‘Please explain’ notice.
