past Israeli actions to deal with Hamas have only required a 1-2 week campaign. minimal casualties or collateral damage.
clearly Israel/Netanyahu are stretching this with an intention of killing and unsettling as many people as they can.... probably until the international community takes them in hand. certainly they don't give a dam about Israeli citizens calling for Net to stand down.
this attack is plainly different to any previous assault on Gaza.
