It has been a marathon, I hope my favourite runner makes it to the finish line first. With only a few hundred metres left to go, I know the runner will do whatever it takes for victory. They won't voluntarily stop to ease the pain, and they are in pain. However they could collapse of exhaustion beyond their physical control before getting over the line. Place your bets. What would the odds be if they were only metres away not hundreds of metres?
