Ummm - City of Hope is actually based in the LA area. They also have centres in Atlanta Georgia; Phoenix Arizona and the Chicago area.
Salt Lake is a major US city - and a rather interesting place to visit. It may well be that Yuman does attend, but it could be any of several people from his team. I don't think Yuman at all minds sharing the limelight.
Another possibility: The Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City is one of the MAST trial sites. The Principal Investigator for that site is Dr Wallace Akerly - the Director of Clinical Trial at Huntsman.
