You are probably correct in saying that there is a connection as I think powers have tried to sink the company. Even PNG ordering Mauls and now waivering could be part of another manouver to bring it down.
The spanner in the works was the rank and file shareholders who would not be shaken in their belief that Metalstorm had something special.
