    "Platinum Australia Limited (ASX:PLA) advises that the Underground Mining Contract at the Smokey Hills Mine with Redpath Mining (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd (?Redpath?) has been terminated by PhokaThaba Platinum (Pty) Ltd (?PhokaThaba?), a South African subsidiary of PLA, effective 5pm Monday 11th October".

    "PhokaThaba is in the process of appointing a new contractor to take over the mining contract and will
    make an announcement in due course".
