it has nothing to do with tafe,(if the numbers were there both sides of politics would have funded it) and everything to do with not enough people want to do an apprenticeship, and those few that did couldn't get an apprenticeship as employers had thousands of Baby Boomers to choose from. In the distance past 15% of school leavers used to do a trade. It's been decades since those times. Jet
